Why Blues Dancing and Racial Justice?
Blues Dance influences span a complex network of communities, experiences, and histories, many originating from poor communities of color. Blues dancers, through our love of blues music and blues dance, are intrinsically connected to and enmeshed with Black communities.
Blues Dance communities are coordinating with local Fusion dance communities for the cause, hosting their own parties and live music stream.
Thank you for supporting racial justice!
In 2017, Altogether 30+ parties across the globe raised $14,258 for local, POC (people of color) -led racial justice organizations.
Thanks to everyone who came out and danced, donated, or bid on some of those outrageous auction items. See you again next year!
